Zenith Remote Control Programming Guide
Programming your Zenith Remote Control doesn't have to be difficult. When programming your Zenith Remote Control it is important to have the correct instructions and proper codes. All you'll ever need to program your Zenith Universal Remote Control is right here in the easy to follow programming guide.
This instruction guide is applicable to All Zen Model Remotes which include the following: Zen100, Zen300, Zen350, Zen400, Zen425, Zen450, Zen525, Zen700, Zen725, ZenDTV, and most Zenith Universal Remote Controls.
*note: This section of the Zenith remote control programming guide requires your remote control to have the "Code Search" button.
Programming TVs:
1. Turn on your television set.
2. Push and hold down the "Code Search" button until you see the remote control indicator light, glow. Once you see the indicator light glow, release the "Code Search" button.
3. Next, quickly Press and release the TV button on the remote.
*note: The indicator light should flash on and off a few times before finally staying lit.
4. Locate the corresponding 3 digit TV Codes from your Zenith Remote Codes list. Enter the first 3 digit code on the codes list by using the remote controls numbered key pad. Once the first 3 digit code on the list is entered, the indicator light should shut off.
*note: If the indicator light Does Not turn off or if it begins to flash rapidly, check your code and reenter it; or move-on to the next 3 digit code on the TV codes list.
5. Finally, point the remote control at your television and press the OFF button. If the television turns off, then you have successfully programmed your remote control to operate your television.
*note: If the television does not turn off or if some buttons on the remote control do not operate the TV correctly; repeat steps 1-5, but enter the next 3 digit codes on the list for your TV brand.
