Universal Codes
A Universal Remote Control can be found just about anywhere. You can easily pick one up at your local drug store or any Retail store in your neighborhood. These remotes will control all your devices such as TV, DVD, VCR, etc.. No need to have a tower of remotes to run each and every one of your devices. Why make it more difficult when one remote is all you need to make your television watching experience more enjoyable. No more fumbling around with a bunch of remotes to find the correct one for that specific device. A universal remote control is all you need to operate and run whatever equipment of your choice.
With a universal remote control you will need to set it up accordingly to each of your devices. In order to do this you will need the name brand of the device you will be setting up. Along with these devices you will also need a code that corresponds with that specific equipment. This can be found in your user manuals or located within this site. You may find that more than one code will be found under the device you will be programming. If so, simply try each of the codes until the correct one is entered and will properly run the piece of equipment you are setting up. If the accurate code is entered you will find that all functions will operate as they should be. If a code is entered and it does not operate all functions then the wrong code has been entered. Simply try the next code, and so on, until all functions are operated by the remote control completely. You will need to repeat the steps for each device that you would like to operate from the universal remote control.
Any equipment that you choose to operate from your remote control can be done easily once it is set up to do so. You will find that the remote will have specific keys, usually on the top of the remote, that will correspond with the device that you would like to control. For example if you would like to control the television you would push the TV key first before pushing any other functioning keys. This will now access all the keys to operate the TV only. Same goes for cable, AUX (audio equipment), and VCR or DVD dependent on what you have previously set up to the universal remote control. Whatever devices you have set up to the remote will then be operated by first pushing the key on the remote that corresponds to the device you will be using. Now all keys will operate that specific device.

The complications of juggling through many remotes is now a thing of the past.
