Programming your Sony BDP (Blu-ray Disc Player) Remote Control is easy! To begin programming your Sony BDP Remote Control to operate your television you'll need to have your remote control in hand. You will also need to be sitting in front of the TV and/or other devices that you want to be programmed. Be sure that the remote control receiver window on the remote control and on the device are not blocked.
On the Sony BDP Remote Control push down the TV Button. Next Using the number pad enter the manufacturer code. If more than one manufacturer code exists, enter them one at a time in order or until you find the correct code; or until you exhaust your resources. If the correct code was entered then the device being programmed will operate with your remote control.

Using the Easy Setup To Program Your Player
1) First you'll need to Turn on your television.
2) Next press
to activate your player. Wait a moment while the player warms-up and turns on.
3) Now you'll need to change the input selector on your television to show the players signal on your TV display. The OSD language selection should now be visible on you TV screen.
*note: If for some reason the OSD language selection did not appear, you will need to press the HOME button. You should now be able to select the Easy Setup option from the Setup Menu. Once you have entered the Easy Setup mode select START, and press ENTER on your remote.
4) Now using
, choose a language for the on-screen displays, once you've made your selection, press the ENTER button.
5) Next Select START, and press ENTER.
6) Now you'll need to choose the cable type being used to connect your player to your TV. Choose between either Component Video, or HDMI. Once you have made your selection press the ENTER button on the remote control. Check your cable connection to from your TV to your player to determine which cable your using. If your using HDMI it will be a single cable.
7) Test Your Cable Settings.
A) To test your cable settings simply choose START and then press ENTER. The test will automatically begin and will appear on screen for about 30 seconds. Wait until the test is finished.
Once the test completes you should see a picture. If no picture is visible press the RETURN button and repeat step 6, but is time select the other cable option.
B) Once you have confirmed the cable selection is correct and you see a picture select FINISH, then press ENTER. The television display will now ask you to confirmation your selection.
C) Select OK or Cancel, and then press the ENTER button.
8) Next you'll be able to allow or deny internet connections from BD contents. To allow internet connections from BD contents select the ALLOW option, and then press ENTER. To deny internet connections from BD contents select DO NOT ALLOW and press the ENTER button.
9) Set Quick Start Mode to ON or OFF and then press the ENTER button.
10) Lastly, choose FINISH and press the ENTER button.
