Samsung Remote Codes Programming Guide

1) Before you begin your Samsung Remote Codes programming, be sure that you have working batteries in your Samsung universal remote control.

2) Once you confirm that the remote control is operational turn off the device you wish to program (TV, DVD, Blu-ray player, etc.).

3) Next, locate the buttons at the top of the remote control which allow you to choose the device your going to program. For example: TV, VCR, CBL, DVD, or STB. Push the device button.

4) After you have made your selection, press the SET button on you remote.

5) Now its time to enter the remote control codes. Using the Samsung remote control codes list, locate the device and the device brand your attempting to program. For example: The device would be a TV, VCR, DVD, etc. and the device brand would be Samsung, Sony, Fisher, Hitachi, etc.

6) Once you have found the correct codes list, use the remote control NUMBER buttons to enter it. For example: if the code is 020, simply push the corresponding buttons (0,2,0) on the remote control number pad.

7) After your have completed entering the first code on the list. Press the POWER button. If the correct code was entered the device will turn on, and you will have completed programming the remote control to that device. However if the device does not turn on, repeat the above steps and enter the next code on the list. (*note: Repeat the steps until the codes are exhausted, or the device turns on with the remote control.)
