CableVision Remote Control Programming Guide

It time to program your CableVision remote control by using the Three Digit Code Programming Method. The Three Digit Code Method is a fast and easy way to setup your CableVision remote control. The Three Digit Code Method allows your to program your remote control by pressing three numbers on the remote control number key pad. After entering the three digit codes your remote control will operate the desired equipment (TV, VCR, DVD, CABLE BOX, etc.)

To program the CableVision remote codes into your remote control follow these steps:

1) First thing you'll need to do is turn ON the device you want programmed.(DVD, Blu-ray, TV, Cable Box, etc.)

2) Next press and hold the TV button and the SEL button simultaneously until the iO button lights up. This indicates that the remote control and the device are ready to be programmed.

*IMPORTANT Tip : The iO button will only be lit for 20 seconds. The next step must be completed within the 20 second time limit or the light turns off, and the codes will not be recognized.

3) While pointing the remote control at the device your programming, enter the three digit code from the codes list. The codes are listed by brand, choose your device brand from the list. There may be more than one code listed for each brand. Enter the fist code from the brand code list. After the code is entered the device should turn OFF. If the device turned OFF the correct code was entered; continue to step 4. However, if the correct code was not entered, enter the next code on the code brands list; and so on and so forth until the correct code is found.
